From Noticing to Change

Some months, on the first day of my period, just like today, all I feel like doing is this:

Recline

Read a book

Watch something light on TV

Knit

Listen to an audiobook

Nap

It’s perfect. I feel relaxed and like I am doing exactly what I need to do in this moment.

Some months, I can’t quite do this the whole day due to other obligations, but I try to fit in a little bit of this whenever I can.

Noticing what my body needs, is noticing what I need. Noticing allows me to fulfil my needs.

Noticing is also part of being a Scientist of the Self. After all, I am an absolute expert at being myself. No one knows how to be me like I do. So I can watch, observe and learn from noticing what is happening within me. 

Noticing brings awareness, awareness brings different options and choices and finally, whenever the time is right and if necessary, you can change.
